We have a special Halloween edition night run in conjunction with Eastside Runners, Snoqualmie Valley Running Group, and Sky Valley Runners! This is a casual/social run to kick off the holiday season while also building community with our friends in other running clubs. :) Details below:
Trick or treat?! Get up on your feet! (Or you might be dead meat!) Join us for a scary escape or wander in Duvall's Taylor's Ridge neighborhood, where folks go all out on the displays rather than the sweets. If you enjoyed Christmas lights here, you'll be in for a treat!
Wear a Halloween costume if you dare, but at least bring a headlamp and reflective gear! Although the neighborhood is gloomy and ghostly, watch out for vehicles driven by zombies (or even worse - distracted drivers).
THERE WILL BE A WALKING GROUP too for those who'd rather not startle the clowns that may be lurking around town. So, invite your family, friends, and even your four-legged hounds!
MEET: On the sidewalk on the south side of Judd Park.
PARKING: There is street parking along NE 150th Street, a small parking lot behind the park, and further spots in the neighborhood (please be respective of people's homes/driveways).
BATHROOMS: There is a maintained porta-potty at the north end of Judd Park. There is also a Safeway nearby in case the porta-potty turns out to be haunted or cursed.
ROUTE (3.8 Miles): https://www.strava.com/routes/2772630808046060308
POST-EVENT DINNER: Valley House Brewing Co. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/iUXSaJgEeNx4qNrR7)
Fear not, LSRC, ESR, SVRG, and SVR - surely together we won't be spooked! Thank you Skye (Duvall local) for the route and info!
