Every first Sunday of the month (except October and December, when we have evening holiday runs) we have a field trip to explore different trails and routes, then get coffee afterwards. We meet at 8:30 AM for the run - most people run up to an hour and head over to coffee around 9:45 AM!
MAY: Explore the trails of the Redmond Watershed Preserve, which has 800 acres of natural open space and second-growth forest. More info on the Redmond Watershed Preserve can be found here: https://www.redmond.gov/facilities/
MEET: Cypress Coffee
BATHROOMS: Inside Cypress Coffee or possibly at nearby Chevron
ROUTES:
Both loops within Redmond Watershed Park are run entirely on dirt and/or packed gravel trails. The longer 6-mile perimeter loop includes one steady climb and several other small rollers while the shorter 3.2-mile loop has rollers. Trail runners recommended, but regular road shoes with good grip should still be okay. Please be courteous of other trail users, especially equestrians.
COFFEE: Cypress Coffee
